WoW Gaming Keyboards

If you spend a lot of time gaming with your computer, a gaming keyboard is going to make a lot of sense than just using the plain vanilla keyboard that came with your computer.

They can improve your gameplay -- both by helping to improve your timing through the use of hotkeys, etc for macros, but they are usually also designed iwth your wrists and arms in mind. So if you are playing World of Warcraft for hours at a time, whether you are grinding, pwning opponents or just exploring, I think they're a "must buy".

While any well designed gaming keyboard will do the job for playing World of Warcraft, you can buy something that is customized jut for WoW. Customized WoW keysets are already set up for the MMORPG and the usually come decorated for the game too.

WoW gaming keyboards and key sets make playing World of Warcraft a lot easier. If you spend a lot of time in the game, it's worth the extra cash. They make it easier to create new macros and you will be able to act much more quickly than you can with a regular keyboard.

A Warcraft keyboard can help make chatting, casting spells and battling a lot easier and it may even give you the jump in the arena if your opponent isn't wise enough to have a dedicatd WoW keyboard.

The Ideazon World of Warcraft keyset is designed to work with the ZBoard gaming keyboard so if you don't already own a ZBoard, you'll want to get one of those too.

The WOW keyset inserts over the keyboard's keys and helps speed up your chat and macros. Commands are grouped into two areas -- the Game Window zone and the Chat Command Zone. This keeps your spell book and all of the character interface commands in easy reach. And you can easily yell or whisper to friends or guild members.

All of the keys for your default commands -- including opening bags, maps and targeting -- are clearly labeled and there are even macros set up for things like laughing and having a good victory roar.

The SteelSeries Zboard Limited Edition Keyset (WotLK) is customized for the Wrath of the Lich King expansion, but it works with the earlier WoW Games as well, so if you don't have the expansion yet because you aren't ready for it (or for some insane reason don't want it), you can still get the keyboard now.

After mounting the keyset to the SteelSeries Zboard base, the gaming experience will enhance drastically due to specific keys assigned for Raiding and Player vs. Player (PvP) gameplay. Strategical placement of color-coded labelled keys and one-touch macros for frequent commands like roll, duel and invite, will help increase immersion and they'll increase the user's actions per minute (APM). So faster, less tiresome gameplay.

If you already own a ZBoard, you can just buy the WotLK keyset on its own, or you can buy it in a bundle with the Zboard.

Honestly, if you play a lot of First Person Shooters on your PC, there are probably far better keyboards than the ZBoard, but if most of your game playing is spent immersed in World of Warcraft, I think the Zboard is pretty excellent. You will probably want to snap in the regular QWERTY keyset for doing any work though, but it is easy to swap the keysets in and out.
