World of Warcraft Cheats and Hacks

If you feel like your World of Warcraft games needs a little help, or you just want to explore what you can get away with in the game, you'll probably want to check out various World of Warcraft cheats and hacks. Sometimes a few cheats can be really helpful if you don't have the resources to buy the special armor or weapon that you've been looking at in the merchant's shop. Well, maybe a cheat can help you earn gold fast enough to buy it!

Some players think it is unethical to use cheats when playing a game, but since there's nothing at stake and it is just a game, I fail to see the harm. For some players, half the fun in playing any game, including WOW, is having lots of cheats to use to do it.

So whichever way you look at it, cheats are available for World of Warcraft in the form of Bots, Exploits, Dupes, and Hacks. And most of the WoW cheats are fairly easy to find online, as long as they actually exist! You should beware that there are some "cheats" that really don't exist at all, such as the infamous gold dupe hack. This is an alluring idea designed to trap you. WoW Bots, on the other hand, are rather common, and probably the most used cheat system in World of Warcraft. You have bots for just about any kind of repetitive action you do in the game world. Fishing bots are very common along with automatic attack bots.

It’s usually not a good idea to leave them running while you sleep or are away from the computer very long, though, as people can tell when you are botting. Probably the best way to use them is to let them grind mobs while you are doing something else on the computer or watching tv.

Exploits are not technically World of Warcraft cheats. They are more like bugs in the programming. Finding them are rare, and most people won’t tell you what or where they are. They also tend to get patched pretty quickly as well, but they can be fun while they last.

Exploits can have varied effects, such as letting you into areas you aren’t ready to get into yet or haven't officially opened in the game yet, or maybe you can find an exploit that will give you a good place to sit and kill enemies without getting hit at all.

A lot of times when you do find an exploit, it won't give you an edge in the game, but it can provide some extra fun. For example, check out the Exploration video

Dupes are much like exploits except they duplicate various things such as weapons, which make a character extremely rich in the game. These are the rare diamonds of the game world, and are extremely hard to find, if at all. My own opinion is that they do not exist, and you can read more about why I say so in my Gold Dupe Hacks article.

Another of the World of Warcraft cheats is hacks. These are usually frowned upon by anyone running a server, unless you are on a private server and every one else is using them too. This is actually where you'll usually find legitimate gold dupes, on a private server.

These are used much like bots in that they do things for you, but there are some that allow you to do one thing and have a totally different outcome happen. Who wouldn’t want to fish for weapons? I've personally never played on a private server, but if I ever did, I'd want to be on one where there were plenty of cool and crazy hacks available.
