World of Warcraft Bots and Cheats

It's pretty much true that if a game exists, so do cheats for it and World of Warcraft is no different. There are always players looking to gain a bit of an edge while they are leveling or grinding for gold.

Or maybe you are just the sort of player who doesn't think it is fun to do the same repetitive task over and over again for hours upon hours of played time. Believe me, I sure don't enjoy it!

Thankfully there are plenty of ways to cheat in World of Warcraft. There are Bots, Exploits, Dupes, and Hacks. These World of Warcraft cheats are fairly easy to find online, but just make sure you don't get Duped yourself. Some exploits are purely mythical, such as the Gold Dupe Hack, and people advertising that sort of things are just trying to trap you into downloading tools designed to exploit YOU.

Bots are probably the most common form of cheat used while playing World of Warcraft. You have bots for just about any kind of repetitive action you do in the game world. Fishing bots are very common along with automatic attack bots. It's usually not a good idea to leave them running while you sleep or are away from the computer very long, though, as people can tell when you are botting and may choose that opportunity to either mess with you, or you'll find yourself turned into Blizzard.

MMO Glider is probably one of the most popular WoW Bots available. It is constantly updated to keep up with Blizzard's detection abilities. This video explains how to set up Glider as a fishing bot, but it is highly adaptable and can be used to bot all kinds of stuff - It grinds, it loots, it skins, it heals.

Exploits are not technically cheats. They are more like bugs in the programming. Finding them are rare, and most people won't tell you what or where they are because usually as soon as word leaks out about them, they are patched.

Likely effects of various explotis include letting you into areas you aren't ready to get into yet (such as the Wrath of the Lich King update!), or maybe just a good place to sit and kill enemies without getting hit at all.

Dupes are much like exploits except they duplicate various things such as weapons, which can make a character extremely rich in the game if you decide to sell them at the auction house.

Dupes are extremely hard to find, and it is questionable if any of them really exist. For example, the most sought after Dupe is the "Gold Dupe Hack" and yet I can assure you that no such thing exists and anything you download calling itself such is just a keylogger. Another type of World of Warcraft cheats are known as hacks. Anything that would break TOS would be frowned upon if you are playing on Blizzard's servers, but if you are on a private server it is likely that everyone is using them and that is just part of the fun. Generally, these are used much like bots in that they do things for you, but there are some that allow you to do one thing and have a totally different outcome happen. Who wouldn't want to fish for weapons?

Another way to think of hacks though are all the things that you can do to improve your gaming experience that takes place at the user level -- for example, setting up macros for repetitive tasks, running user interface addons and scripts, etc. None of that stuff breaks TOS and yet they can be thought of as hacks too.
