Tummy Tubs

Tummy Tubs, or as they are officialy known, TummyTub®, are the latest must-have accessory for babies. This plastic infant tub is designed to help babies feel safe and secure in the bath. Invented in Europe, they've been quite popular there and now they've come to the United States. Both MSNBC and The Today Show have already done feature stories on this baby bath tub that happens to look like a plastic bucket.

But there's a method to the madness. It isn't just a bucket. It's an infant-sized bathtub with curves designed to help simulate your baby's experience in the womb. Due to the way the bathtub is shaped, your baby will automatically be able to curl up in the fetal position, a very comfortable and familiar experience for babies. It is supposed to be quite helpful especially for babies who are premature and/or colicky.
