Bioshock for XBox 360

Bioshock is the reason I bought my first video game console. I usually play games on the PC, but my computer could not handle this game and I didn't feel like buying a new one. My niece has every console, but the XBox 360 so I ended up buying it myself just so I could play this game and I'm so glad that I did.

Visually, Bioshock is beyond stunning with lots of art deco and steampunk influences and the audio performances are excellent as well, adding up to an incredibly creepy game that is lots of fun to play. It's a first person shooter with a strong plotline and all of the action takes place in an underwater city called Rapture.

Just note one thing -- it's rated Mature and not for the kids. But grown-ups should be delighted.

BioShock is a first-person shooter video game by 2K Boston/2K Australia (previously Irrational GamesOn January 9, 2006, Take-Two Interactive announced that they had acquired Irrational Games, and would be publishing BioShock under their 2K Games publishing label.) The game is a PC and Xbox 360 title. It was released on August 21 2007 in North America and on August 24 2007 in Europe and Australia.

Set in 1960, the player assumes the role of a plane crash survivor named Jack, who must explore the dystopian underwater city of Rapture and survive the mutated beings and mechanical drones within it. The game incorporates elements found in role-playing and survival horror games, and is described by the developers as a "spiritual successor" to their previous title System Shock 2.
